You may remember my review of a few items in the Southern Comforts fragrance line just about a month ago. If you haven’t checked out that post just click here and learn about this up and coming cruelty free & vegan fragrance oil line and some of their products and scents! I thoroughly enjoyed all the products I received for review, so much so, that when the opportunity arose to apply for the SoCo Media Team I decided to throw my name in the mix and I made it! Keep reading to check out a round up of my April favorite and the faves of some of the other SoCo Media Team members!
Check out the first set of products I received as an official Soco Media Team member! April was a nice collection of varying scents and product types.
- Solid Perfume in the scent, Darlin’
- Belle of the Balm Body Butter in Mama Tried
- Individual Samples in Coat of Many Colors, Walkin’ After Midnight & Miss Leonie’s Lift
I was a fan of everything I received, but hands down my favorite item was the solid perfume in the scent, Darlin’. This scent was just the perfect balance of sweet & sexy, and reminded me so much of a scent I used to wear in high school ❤ Check out this pic on my Instagram!
Southern Comforts’ Description: “A sweet and sassy combination; sweet peach candy and sunscreen paired perfectly with creamy floral notes. As close as you can get to youth in a bottle!”
~ (floral, gourmand, girly): peach candy, sunscreen, violet, wild rose, day lily, vanilla
Kat Leavis over at Dreadfully Divine had the opportunity to try the Hair Frosting Shine Serum, amongst a few other #soco products for April:) This serum is loaded with moisturizing ingredients, like argan and sweet almond oils, and comes in 26 different Southern Comforts fragrances. Check out this pic over on Kat’s Instagram feed!
Erin Flood over at Cruelty Free Goddess had some great things to say about the SoCo Whipped Creme Hair Masque. This luxurious, deep conditioner is designed to moisturize and revitalize damaged hair. Argan oil, cupuacu butter, and avocado protein nourish parched strands, leaving hair soft, shiny, and manageable. Click here to check out her blog review:)
If you haven’t checked out Southern Comforts online, I highly recommend their Instagram feed! You get some great product shots and adorable, intermittent pictures of the owner, Allison, and her cats, MooMoo and Uy…totally cute! My favorite picture they posted this month was of this delicious looking Fluffy Whipped Soap!
