Something that I absolutely love doing when I have a cold is take a nice hot shower…There is just something about the feeling of that hot water and that warm steam that helps to decongest everything! It feels like I am cleansing my body of the grossness and germs that is the common cold. So, I took one of my new goodies, the Island Girl Co. Avo Body Scrub and jumped in my shower. This body scrub is made of a blend of some pretty amazing ingredients, and the scent is super refreshing and was just what I needed to start fighting this cold the right way.

I used this all over my neck, chest, & shoulders, and lightly on my face. The peppermint oil in the formula really helped to alleviate my congestion and the avocado oil and extra virgin olive oil were amazing in making my skin feel extra soft. I also felt like I was sloughing away all the nasty cold germs, and dare I say, boogers??? TMI??? LOL!!!

The scent of this body butter is to die for! It was also super refreshing so it worked really well as a follow up to the Avo Body Scrub. It made me feel clean, healthy, and free of germs. I am not saying it cured my cold, but man did it make me feel so much better! I slathered it on my chest, neck, shoulders, tummy, arms, legs…basically everywhere.
