Going to the nail spa is more than just an appointment…For me it is an experience~~* I love being pampered and just getting away from the day-to-day. I have tried all kinds of nail spas…local ones, ones recommended by friends…some were okay but none ever really met all of my prerequisites in terms of a nail spa. I feel like I have searched high and low for that perfect place to go, especially being cruelty-free. Maybe I sound a little picky, but let’s face it, I have standards in terms of ambiance, products, and customer service.
Marilyn Monroe Spas Nail Lounge in Midtown Miami met every single one of my expectations plus some!

Lucky me was gifted a free month of unlimited Express manicures & pedicures from a Facebook Giveaway. I was not approached to write this post, but after my first visit, I really felt like I needed to share my experience with you:)
The first thing you should be prepared for is parking. I happened to always go on a weekday morning so I really had no problem finding a space, but be ready to pay the little parking meters where you print a ticket and put it visibly on your dashboard…This is no big deal, but then again I wasn’t going during peak hours. There is literally parking all up & down the street in Midtown.
The first thing I noticed was the store front signage. I love the Marilyn Monroe quote and I also love their overall branding! It really does elevate what you expect of a regular nail salon…I guess because it really isn’t a regular nail salon!
As a client, you can opt to pay-as-you-go, which is really what most people are accustomed to or you can opt for a Stay Polished Passport. Marilyn Monroe Spas provides a monthly membership of unlimited services.
For $99 a month you can get unlimited Express Manicures, Express Pedicures & polish changes. There is also a $99 waxing membership which includes brows, lips, chin, legs & arms. While other Marilyn Monroe Spas do offer other services, such as blowouts & makeup services, this particular Marilyn Monroe Spa is exclusively a nail boutique that offers nail & waxing services.
Mathematically speaking, a regular manicure & pedicure, or what they call the Express services combined are $50. With a monthly membership and going once a week this is like getting two appointments for free!
Once inside I couldn’t help but adore the decor. Everything is gray scale except for pops of red throughout the nail lounge. The design itself is feminine, simple and classy. There are images of Marilyn Monroe throughout also focusing on that pop of color that makes you want to paint your nails red & throw on some of Marilyn’s signature red lipstick.
All the products that are used during services are also sold in their retail area. I was blown away by the quality of their products. Here you know exactly what is being used on you, while in other nail salons it is really your best guess.
All of their products are also Natrue certified. This means they have gone through a very rigorous & independent certification process ensuring that their products are natural and organic. The products are also cruelty-free, as no animal testing has taken place with individual ingredients or final products.
This was the biggest factor in my wanting to share my experience with you. Whenever I try something I really like I want you to know about it.
Marilyn Monroe Spas also carry an entire line of makeup products with (of course) the most adorable names to products, like the bronzer in Rio de Janeiro and lipstick in Morning Kiss. There is also a wide selection of shades in foundation & concealer, as well as, blushes, eyeliners, primer…you name it.
The skincare line is what really gets me excited! They have products for different skin types with ingredients like rosehip oil, chamomile, green tea, jojoba oil, shea butter, pomegranate, sage, and willow bark. I have my eye on their Age Defense Collection, which consists of a Rose Cell Renewing Facial Polish, Rose Cream Cleanser, Rose Firming & Brightening Serum, Rose Hip Cell Renewal Seed Oil Capsules, Rose Hip Firming De-Puff Eye Cream, Rose Hydrating Daily Cream, & Rose Soothing Mist…It’s all coming up roses ~~*
They also have a testing table set up, so feel free to test out the products! Everything smells so good! What is it about me & beauty products??? I just can’t help myself!
They also carry body products such as body lotion, body scrub, body wash & body oil. Apparently, Marilyn really knew about the important things in life!
Marilyn Monroe Spas uses its own line of nail polishes, and as you can see there is quite a variety! On my first visit I opted for a classic Marilyn shade and the color Beauty Mark really stood out. It’s summer and I really wanted a color that would pop and still have a slight coral hue to it.
The nail polishes retail for $6.50 but you have the option to purchase your color that day for $2.50. That is more than 50% off!
The icing on the cake for me was the mani & pedi itself. First off they did a great job! I went to the nail salon 4 times in my complimentary month and worked primarily with Christina & Diana…both ladies were amazing:) Thanks girls!
Feel free to get comfortable during your appointment…I sure did! I was offered water or tea on all of my visits so I had the opportunity to try out a few different tea flavors, peach & berry being my faves. It gets better – YES they have WIFI!!! Most times I tend to read a book during my appointments, like I said earlier, I like to get away from the day-to-day, but sometimes I spend time on social media and I hate using data so this was a major plus!

All in all, I highly recommend the Marilyn Monroe Spas Nail Lounge in Midtown Miami. The services are great, the products are amazing, and you will walk out feeling like you channeled your inner pin up calendar girl!
