8 Vegan & Cruelty Free Nail Polishes That Bring Some Fling to Your Spring

Recently I was just scrolling through my Facebook feed and noticed a Refinery29 article on Spring nail trends, more specifically, 8 Nail Polish Colors That’ll Bring Springtime To Your FingersI was kinda bummed because NONE of the brands on the list were cruelty free😭  I decided to do a little research and check out some of my favorite vegan and cruelty free nail polish brands and find some similar alternatives to the on trend shades R29 was recommending!
Thankfully, I was able to put together a great list of equivalent shades from some great brands, both big and small, and all vegan and cruelty free! The best part is, no bunnies were harmed for a great mani and pedi 🐰  Keep reading to pick out your next polish shade to bring some fling to your spring nails💅

Neon Pink

While I am not a huge fan of a fluorescent neon pink, I do love a borderline bright Barbie pink.  Dimension Nails offers a great shade with Speak for the Voiceless.  This indie brand is woman owned, 10 free, vegan, and cruelty free.  Plus the owner Stephanie is totally amazing 😘 I recently highlighted DN as part of my 2019 series on female owned indie brands that I have had the opportunity to work with in some capacity.  I also have a gorgeous mineral eyeshadow pigment collaboration with Dimension Nails that I am incredibly proud to be a part of! 💙

Poppy Red

I love a classic red, but I really love this bright twist on a classic shade with orang-y hints.  Zoya’s Rocha is described as a classic folly red cream with warm undertones that enhance a summer glow 🌞 You seriously can’t go wrong with a shade like this!

Electric Blue

Jelly bean colors are in (I guess)!  The third color being recommended by R29 was an electric blue.  It doesn’t get more beautiful than Wrenn Polish’s shade, It’s A Pirate’s Life 💙 It is actually inspired by one of the druzy stones they use in their jewelry line as well!  I have had the experiencing these polishes for myself…I am currently wearing Mermaid In A Bottle on my fingers and toes as I type.  It is definitely one of my favorite polishes of life 😉 #HOLO

Bright Peach

Living Coral, the Pantone color of the year, is described as a vivid, yet mellow, shade that embraces us with warmth and nourishment. The ella + mila color, Sunkissed, is a gorgeous alternative that brings the brightness of coral but is still very wearable and perfect for Spring 🍑 Sunkissed is also part of their Mommy & Me collection and paired up with the shade, Dipped in Gold ✨

Crisp White

I can’t be the only one that used to use white out to paint their nails as a kid… Don’t be shy!  You know you did it too! 😉😜 Well, we were right on trend back then!  Crisp white is a bright pop on the nails, but I love the metallic sheen that Smith & Cult brings in its shade, Sugarette ♡ Described as an opaque white smoke, it is beautiful, sexy, and a more sophisticated alternative to the white out white we used to wear on our nails in the 5th grade #LOL Recently I had a mani done with their shades. Powder Posse and A Little Lovely, and I was blown away by how well these polishes lasted without chipping!

Vibrant Violet

Ahhh purple…one of my favorite colors ever! 💜 I will take this color any day anytime!  According to R29, violet is a color that looks good on anyone, and I must say that I agree 😍 The brand, Wailani, has the most gorgeous royal violet to grace any mani or pedi.  Their shade, Freedom, was developed in collaboration with The Rescue + Freedom Project.  Their mission is to free animals from laboratory experiments, senior & specials needs animals from shelters, and animal victims of abuse around the world 🐶 So you can feel pretty good knowing that 10% of all proceeds are going to an amazing cause while you nails look totally awesome!

Blazing Orange

If you really want to kick it up a notch you can’t go wrong with a blazing orange!  This shade heralds in the warmer weather, sunshine, and a new day 🌞 Not only is this color super fun, but it looks great on everyone!  Spa Ritual’s shade, Infuse, is a beautiful neon shimmer that brings a total Spring vibe.  Say good~bye to gloves and coats and let your mani shine!  I must say, orange is a color that took me a little getting used to, but there’s glitter in here!  Who can say no to glitter?!?! ✨

Lemon Yellow

If you’re looking for a fun, fresh shade to transition into Spring then it doesn’t get more fun then lemon yellow 🍋  Definitely a little more daring even though it’s more of a subdued shade, NCLA Beauty’s Tennis Anyone?, is light and pastel, but still has a pop of personality and looks great on everyone!  If you want to be the talk of the party, you want to show off your nails with this sunshine in a bottle shade 💛 You may want to bring your sunglasses 😎

So tell me me, have you gotten your first mani or pedi for Spring?  What shade did you use to break the winter blues and step out into the sunshine and flowers???  Let me know in the comments!  I hope you enjoyed some vegan and cruelty free nail polish recommendations to bring some fling into your Spring!!! 🌺😘
