Pacifica Beauty Pineapple Flowers Underarm Deodorant Water & Wipes + Do They Pass the Sniff Test?

Recently, my family and I took our annual summer vacation…a weeklong stay in the Florida Keys🌞 We look forward to this trip every year! Not only is it a week of sun, fun, and relaxation, but I also use it as a week to try out new goodies I have purchased or received in the recent weeks or months.

I was super excited to receive a box of deodorant goodies from Pacifica Beauty 💗 As you know deodorants are a weak spot for me…I have to say my pits are pretty picky!  Keep reading for my thoughts on the new Pacifica Beauty Underarm Deodorant Water and the Coconut Milk & Pineapple Underarm Deodorant Wipes and whether they pass my infamous pit sniff test LOL 🤣🍍

It seems that my pits do not take kindly to most deodorants.  Prior to going cruelty free, I always had to buy the clinical strength options to get the job done.  Regular strength and natural formulas just don’t cut it.  A decent deodorant for me is hard to find, few and far between.

 This trip to the Florida Keys was the perfect scenario to try out a new deodorant.  I knew I would be spending a ton of time outside & in the water, basically creating a sink or swim test for any brand!  The best that could happen would be it does an amazing job, while the worst that could happen would be a total deodorant melt down.  I figured it that happened I would use this week as an excuse to detox my pits.  

This is a pretty unique item on the market.  I personally have never heard of a deodorant water!  It comes in a 4 oz pump spray bottles and retails for $9.  Pacifica prides itself on creating innovative products that are both effective and free of harsh chemicals.  Their deodorant water is no different.  This is an aluminum free alternative to a typical natural deodorant.

All in all, this was a miss for me.  I think it goes back to my inability to find a deodorant that really works.  Ever since I’ve had kids, an effective, natural formula is like a unicorn.  This may be a great alternative for someone who is not at such a deodorant disadvantage.  I would say it effectively lasted about an hour max before I noticed that it was not passing the sniff test.  I found myself having to go back to my hotel room and actually wash my pits and go with their Coconut Milk & Pineapple Underarm Deodorant Wipes instead.

I am not willing to sacrifice my stance on using cruelty free products just because a deodorant isn’t going to last all day.  These wipes are perfect for a midday freshening up, and will get me through to the afternoon where I can be home and back in the AC.  Plus, living in South Florida, let’s be real.  It’s hot as all get out 😎 I keep these in my car and just use as needed 👍

Overall, I am happy to see a brand like Pacifica Beauty being on the forefront of trying to develop more natural, cruelty free, and vegan products to replace what we consider more mainstream products from non-cf brands.  Even better they are available at one of my favorite stores ever,. Target 🎯 I do think they may need to evaluate the effectiveness of the deodorant water, and see if they can’t make it a bit more potent for those of us with problematic pits 🤷 LOL!
