With Fall in full swing, I wanted to share my thoughts on a brand and facial mask that I turn to time and time again.
I actually became acquainted with Michael Todd True Organics (MTTO for shortJ) through the Ipsy subscription service. I initially received their Jojoba Charcoal Scrub (which is awesome) and after checking out their website I made a few purchases. I have actually highlighted MTTO products in a few posts throughout the years, because they are such a quality brand with great ingredients and are also PETA-certified cruelty free.
Oh, did I mention they are also located in Florida? I love learning about brands in my own backyard!
Perfect for the Fall season, the MTTO’s Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask is like pumpkin pie in a bottle! Not really, but for real, this stuff smells like Thanksgiving!
With ingredients like organic pumpkin, organic aloe vera, sugar cane, and glycolic acid, this mask provides instant results.
Per the directions, I cleansed my skin as usual and proceeded to apply an even layer over my face. I didn’t go down my neck as I usually don’t take facial masks all the way down but after seeing how it made my skin afterwards, I should have!
As soon as it settles on the skin, you can feel this mask working. Being that it does contain glycolic acid, it is recommended to only leave on for 5-10 minutes. I hadn’t done a good skin treatment in quite a while so I opted for the longer time frame. Initially, this mask made my skin feel cool and tingly! I love that sensation when it comes to my skin, because it makes me feel like it is actually getting the job done!
After the 10 minutes, I went ahead and rinsed off with cool water. I made sure to get all the mask off, because it does have somewhat of a thicker consistency due to the organic pumpkin.
This mask left my skin feeling extra clean (even though I had already cleansed prior), cool, and refreshed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to lift that dullness that tends to settle when we neglect the skin. I really felt like I glowed a bit for the rest of the day!
What about you? Have you tried the Michael Todd True Organics Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask? If so, what were your thoughts on it?
