Week 2 – Facial Beauty Products
Week 3 – Eye Makeup Products
Week 4 – Lip Products
Week 5 – Nail Products
Week 6 – Hair Care Products
Week 7 – Body Care Products
This week’s focus is all about facial makeup, IE primer, foundation, blush, bronzer, etc…I also opted to include a face palette that offers a complete solution in terms of makeup on the go.  I hope you enjoy my selections!

I first discovered this product about three years ago as I was putting together the makeup look for my wedding.  I have been a fan ever since!  Sometimes I wear it on its own or with some
translucent powder on top.  It has the slightest tint, but it really does provide the smoothest finish.  I don’t tend to wear foundation on a regular basis, but this does a great job to even out my skin tone and provide a semi-matte finish.  Plus, it is from one of my favorite makeup brands of all time!
This has to be one of the most beautiful blushes I have ever used.  I would venture to say it is not just a dupe, but better than the Nars Orgasm blush.  The swatch in the picture below really doesn’t do it justice.  It is the perfect combination of pink & peach with gold undertones that creates the most beautiful shade on the skin.  I would say I have a fair to medium skin tone and my daughter has more of an olive skin tone and this color looks good on both of us.  It can be used on its own as a highlighter and/or blush or you could swipe it ever so gently over the top of a brighter blush to get that beautiful sheen effect.  You can even use it as a really pretty eyeshadow all on its own for a low maintenance look.
After seeing this item on the Sephora website several times (and questioning whether I should buy it or not) I finally bit the bullet.  I am SOOO glad I did!  First of all, the palette smells delicious…I am not sure if it was done on purpose to simulate a beachy vacation but that is exactly what it reminds me of.  I put this palette to the test by making it the ONLY makeup I took with me on a family trip to St. Augustine.  I was able to create different day looks and go easily from day to night by layering the colors and increasing the intensity.  This palette includes seven different makeup items (swatched from top to bottom):

True Hue Blush in Luvitate
Hot Escapes Bronzer in Tahiti
Color Choreography Eyeshadows in Whirl (pale gold), Freestyle (peacock blue), & Point (charcoal)
Lip Cream in Cherry Flip (more of a gloss)
Lash Mascara in Blackest Black (not swatched)

This is the palette I grab for a weekend getaway or day trip as it really provides EVERYTHING I need to put a beautiful look together.
