So, this post may get a little bit “intimate” and if you aren’t comfortable with that, feel free to check out my first experience with WLDKAT Skin here.  I have really enjoyed a lot of their skincare products in the past, and I do have a few new minis stashed away for future use while I work on experiencing a new skincare routine to review for the blog.  All of their skincare and wellness products are vegan, cruelty free, and laced with some healthy doses of broad spectrum CBD.  Now…If you are sticking around, awesome!

When I first heard about the new product WLDKAT was launching, I have to say, I was taken back to my time as a Passion Parties consultant.  Those days are long gone, but I do remember their enhancement serum, quite fondly might I add.  I started to wonder how the Prebiotic + pH Balanced Sex Serum might compare in its benefits😉  So, when they offered to send it over, I most enthusiastically said yes LOL!   I have been incorporating this CBD-laced serum into my vagina’s self care for a few months, both for solo play and partner time, and I am really excited to share my experience with the WLDKAT Skin Prebiotic + pH Balanced Sex Serum!  Keep reading to check it out 💖

I am a huge fan of using some kind of serum and/or lube to provide extra moisturization and glide during play time.  P.S.  That is what we lovingly call sex in our relationship!  After all, I feel like there should always be an element of playfulness involved…Am I right?!?!  Plus, I am currently 44 years old, and I do notice that my body doesn’t produce as much of it’s own magical juices as it used to.  As a woman’s hormones naturally decline, so does vaginal elasticity and natural lubrication.  There is also an increased pH level which decreases the health of our beautiful, vaginal flora.  All of the above can make sex not as pleasant, even downright painful if you ask me.

I also notice that having that extra glide makes sex more pleasurable and actually helps me achieve a better orgasm.  I told you this review would get a little intimate didn’t I?!?! ✨

So let’s talk about the WLDKAT Skin Prebiotic + pH Balanced Sex Serum and how it helps to tick off all those boxes.  I think it is really important to always remember that WLDKAT Skin is vegan, cruelty free, sustainable, and uses super clean formulas for all of its products.  If anything is coming in contact with my passion papaya, you better believe that it better not have any weird, funky ingredients! 🍑

The WLDKAT Sex Serum is formulated to naturally balance the pH levels of the vagina, as well as, “promote focused awareness and increased captivation.”  I interpret this to mean…it’s going to feel more than good where and when it should be LOL!  Let’s take a look at the ingredients that make this happen in this magic potion 💫

Aloe Vera – apparently known at WLDKAT HQ as “nature’s lube”, has antibacterial properties, is incredibly gentle for all skin types, helps calm, moisturize, and restore the skin, and magically, it has a consistency similar to a woman’s natural lube…Thank you Mother Nature! 🌎

Lactobacillus Ferment – described on their site as a “good for you probiotic”, fights off bacterial vaginosis, helps to counteract the imbalance of the vagina’s bacterial makeup and regulates pH

These are the first two ingredients on the packaging, which means that they make the largest contribution to the formula.  Water is the third ingredient, as it is a water-based serum. 

Cannabidiol (CBD) – I actually wrote an entire article on the benefits of CBD in skincare over on The Modern Mom Lounge, spoiler alert, it’s awesome!  It has anti-aging properties, helps strengthen the skin’s natural barrier, reduces irritation and fights infection 🌿 This sex serum has a generous dose of 200mg of broad spectrum CBD.

Quercus Infectoria (Oak) Gall Extract (Manjakani) – kills bacteria and fungi, rich in tannin, which tightens the membrane and vaginal wall, helps to increase the elasticity of the vaginal muscles

Arginine (L-Arginine)

The star of the show, in my opinion, (not that any of the above are not stars in their own right) is Arginine.  Also known as L-Arginine, our body typically make all the arginine it needs, but it is available as a supplement both orally and topically, like in this serum.  It actually acts as a vasodilator, creating increased blood flow to the application area…literally getting those juices flowing LOL 🤣 I just crack myself up sometimes!  Arginine actually changes into nitric oxide in the body, a powerful neurotransmitter that helps blood vessels relax and improves circulation.  Something else I learned while doing my research was that taken orally, L-Arginine actually helps with erectile dysfuntion…so by all means, I would consider this ingredient a win-win 🙌

The  WLDKAT Skin Prebiotic + pH Balanced Sex Serum also contains witch hazel leaf extract, rice bran extract, rosemary leaf extract, and sunflower extract, all of which have beautiful benefits of their own. 

Now that I have you convinced with the formula and ingredients, let’s talk about packaging.  I love how this brand focuses so much on sustainability!  Their bottles are made from dark glass to protect the magic inside and are 100% recyclable.  The boxes are also made with 100% recycled paper + zero coating, making them perfect for the compost!  Their motto when it comes to packaging is: “We gave it a second life, you give it a third.” 

My Thoughts

I have really enjoyed using the WLDKAT Skin Prebiotic + pH Balanced Sex Serum.  I find that the recommended 4-6 pumps, is a bit much…I would say 2-3 pumps gets the job done, thereby giving you more opportunities for better sex in each bottle😉  I do think waiting the 7-10 minutes for absorption and activation is imperative to gain the full benefits of the L-Arginine and Manjakani.  This is also perfectly suitable for oral sex!  The serum is completely flavorless…you can trust me on that! 

I don’t want you walking away from this review thinking that this serum is going to provide the typical slip and slide experience you get with a silicone-based, or even water-based, lubricant.  That is not really the sole purpose of this product.  The WLDKAT Sex Serum is so much more.  It provides a natural, not overwhelming, sense of moisture and smoothness down there that really mimics the natural lube our goddess bodies create on their own, with some added benefits!

I have also noticed that some serums and lubes go so far as to create a cool, tingling sensation.  While some people are a fan of this, I personally am not.  on the contrary, I feel like it interferes with my ability to enjoy what is going on in the moment, and makes reaching that apex, you know, the orgasm, that much harder.  I don’t want to have to concentrate on feeling past the tingle to ride the wave🌊
