I know that I keep repeating myself, but |I just can’t help it! I love skincare! I especially love when I find a product that has really proven itself to me in terms of its effectiveness. Enter the Leef Organics Wild Crafted CBD Oil. This magic potion is seriously a new staple in my skincare routine and beyond!
So, just to give you a little background, I went down the proverbial CBD rabbit hole back in early 2020 when I had the opportunity to contribute an article over at The Modern Mom Lounge. As I type this, I am about 75% done with my beautiful little bottle of Leef Organics Wild Crafted CBD Oil and I have been focused on exploring its benefits in different ways.
One of my favorite things is being able to see how certain ingredients work with others to amplify the health and beauty of my skin. That truly is the magic of skincare isn’t it? As A Skincare Ampoule 💦
I love boosting the benefits of my moisturizer by adding 2-3 drops of this gorgeous green magic potion. I will take a tiny scoop of my moisturizer into the palm of my hand, add the CBD oil and mix it together before smoothing all over my face and neck. CBD has potent antioxidant properties, neutralizing free radicals, and protects the collagen and elastin of the skin. Honestly it’s so freaking amazing!
Since I am working my way through different moisturizers, I have been able to perform some skincare alchemy with a few of my faves. The DermaE Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Moisturizer and the Earth Harbor Mermaid Milk Nutrient Glow Moisturizer are both great for everyday and the Leef Organics CBD Oil really adds a lovely added silkiness and it feels super nourishing. If I want to go in with a deep moisture treatment, usually at night for me, I love adding it to the Osea Advanced Protection Cream. This is taking it to pure luxe level 👑
As An Antibacterial Spot Treatment 🎯
Another way I have experimented with the Leef Organics Wild Crafted CBD Oil is as an acne spot treatment. I don’t tend to really get pimples or zits but with the current face mask situation, I have had a few here and there… usually on my cheeks. Since CBD has antibacterial properties I knew it couldn’t hurt 😉 I have to say…I have noticed small pimples pretty much dissipating after a day if I catch them early. Again, I don’t get acne regularly but I would definitely use this for those annoying ones that pop up! CBD acts an an antibacterial agent and it is non-comedogenic, which means it does not clog pores.
As An Anti~Inflammatory 🌿
Yep, you read that correctly, and maybe the way I used this oil wasn’t necessarily conventional, but let me tell you, it worked! So let me explain…I decided to try and put an earring through my 2nd earring holes. I had not used these holes in years, so I am not really sure why I though they might still be open…Well, actually one of them was, but I digress! So my left earring hole was not cooperating, so I added some pressure, then a little bit more, than another little push and BAM! I was completely through! Bad idea folks…
My earring hole became infected very badly and I was doing everything I could to get it to heal quickly. Unfortunately, I could sense something building up in the lobe and nothing was working. I was at work, and I had actually brought my Leef Organics Wild Crafted CBD Oil with me, as I was researching for this post. I decided to take a drop and massage the affected area both front and back. I did this a few times throughout the day and it was so soothing. The next day this little ball of infected skin surfaced and it was such a relief as it honestly just popped out when I pulled back and opened the earring hole a bit! I was flabbergasted tbh…and quite impressed!
I am going to be very sad when I finish my Leef Organics bottle, but something can definitely be said for a skincare product that I finish in its entirety…Am I right??? I am definitely going to be re-purchasing, as I can truly appreciate its benefits. Something else that really stood out to me was the science of the CBD used in their formulas. Leef Organics takes a whole plant approach to its extraction process, really focusing on maintaining the integrity of the entourage effect (FYI – I went way more in depth on this topic on my post in the Modern Mom Lounge).
Overall, I highly recommend checking out the brand Leef Organics, and seeing what they have going on 🌞 I love discovering new brands and products, and I have a sneaky feeling that you probably feel the same since you are reading this! 😉
