Ready for a new Vegan Cuts beauty unboxing? When VC reached out and offered to send over their beauty box for me to share with all of you, I just couldn’t help myself! I am really loving everything that Vegan Cuts has going on with all their boxes, so I knew the monthly beauty box would be no exception 😍 Not only are all the goodies in the box vegan and cruelty free, but every month a portion of the proceeds from box sales go to support a different animal related cause 🐾 The month of August supports the American Tortoise Rescue in Malibu, California 🐢 Did I mention we actually have two tortoises, Squirt and Crush? Zion Health Deep Cleansing Scalp & Hair Scrub in Vanilla Coconut with Mangosteen Powder $19.99
This is probably the most intriguing product out of the entire box for me! The usage instructions are pretty easy 🠊 Apply to clean, wet/damp hair, and massage scalp thoroughly. Work through the ends of hair and rinse. They do recommend following this up with a conditioner, but I’m wondering if following with both a shampoo and conditioner would be the best bet?!?! 💖 Mangosteen powder is the star of the show as it is an antioxidant rich super fruit. It fights off bacteria and toxins, fights inflammation, and is reparative for anti~aging results. The sea salt helps restore pH balance, increasing hair growth, as well as, exfoliating and cleansing dead skin cells. The list of great ingredients continues with coconut oil, biotin, argan oil, vitamin E, panthenol, calcium Montmorillonite clay, and of course, my favorite…Aloe Vera 🌿
DermaE Scar Gel $7 (0.5 oz)
The full size for this scar gel runs $20 for 2 oz. Allicin (from the onion bulb) is rich in antioxidants and helps to reduce the appearance of scars, allantoin deeply conditions the skin, and panthenol (pro-Vitamin B5) also helps to moisturize the skin. I think this is something that requires long term testing and observation to really get an idea on if it is working…I already have this in a full size so I am throwing this one in with the Vegan Cuts September 2019 Beauty Box giveaway!!! RAEKA Turmeric~Cucumber Mask $8 (15 ml)
The full size for this peel~off mask is $30 for 2.5 oz/75 ml. This deluxe size sample is a great way to get a few uses out of the product and really get a good feel for its effectiveness and whether you really want to invest in the full size. I love that it is especially good for dry skin. The vitamins and nutrients are meant to help rejuvenate dull skin. Turmeric helps to reduce inflammation, fight acne, reduce dark circles, soothe dry skin, and overall improve skin’s natural glow. And of course, you know I love Aloe Vera in ANYTHING!!! It’s such a magical ingredient! 🌿
Dermala PATCH Me (If You Can) Targeted Pimple Patches $10 (36 patches)
I personally don’t struggle with pimples at all now. In my teen years it also wasn’t a huge struggle, but my kids haven’t had it easy, especially my son. We have tried everything from drugstore to Dermatologist and nothing has worked for him. I will definitely be passing these along to him. They are made from something called hydrocolloid, which absorbs pus and oil from blemishes. He is actually starting a new regimen tonight so I’m hoping this one makes a difference. We have high hopes so, I will definitely share his experience if all goes well 🤞🏻
NIU BODY Pina Colada Sugar Lip Polish $10
Ok this is probably the most delicious item in the box 😂 I love a good sugar lip scrub?!?! And of course, this one just screams summer and delicious drinks by the pool if you ask me! With ingredients like avocado oil, shea butter, and sugar, plus natural pineapple and coconut 🍍🥥 As soon as you open the container it just looks like something you want to slather all over your lips!
